Senior Management
Gary has been appointed CEO to support GCA in its development and drive forward in its 50th year. He has significant experience working within the health and social care industry, with a particular focus on recovery driven services. His previous roles have been with national and local charities, local authorities and private business, all of which have been addressing needs to achieve the best outcomes for individuals who use support services. Gary has a wealth of experience in services which deliver support such as;

Gary’s role is to lead the organisation in accordance with professional ethics, vision and values that are at the centre of GCAs beliefs and support the governance of the organisation in line with charity and company law.
Linda McInally – Head of Prevention and Education Services and Depute Chief Executive Officer – Linda is responsible for the overall management and development of the Prevention and Education Service and links in with many other services and organizations across the city. Linda has worked in the addiction field since 1992 starting out as a volunteer alcohol counsellor at GCA , Linda has since had a variety of roles within the addiction field in Glasgow , including several years in residential recovery services.
Jennifer has worked in the voluntary sector for the last 8 years and prior to joining GCA developed and co-ordinated mental health services. The services supported individuals to improve their mental health and wellbeing and recover from alcohol/substance misuse difficulties. Jennifer is an experienced Counsellor and Trainer and has worked with Aberdeen University as a Counselling Skills Tutor. Jennifer has also developed resources for homeless organisations across the United Kingdom and worked in partnership with the Scottish Government with the aim of improving services for Adult Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. Jennifer has a Degree in Behavioural Science and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and is a qualified Practice Supervisor.
