GCA Service User Involvement gives individuals who have used GCA’s services, an opportunity to get involved with the service. The SUI group is a forum where service users can share their experience, knowledge and skills to shape and inform the development and direction of future services.
Service Users can get involved in many ways from attending peer support groups or come along to our informal drop in sessions or be part of the SUSG (Service User Steering Group)
A Service User is anyone who uses, or has used*, any of the services at Glasgow Council on Alcohol. *within the last 5 years
Service Users at GCA are involved in many ways. Service Users offer a Peer Support group and Drop In sessions, they also volunteer for our various services. Service Users also make up a large section of the SUSG – Service Users Steering Group who provide a link between service user issues and the GCA board.
Glasgow Council on Alcohol are keen for service users to “give back” and part with their knowledge of our services. You can get in touch and get involved by emailing us or giving us a call on 0141 353 1800.
