
GCA provide a range of services for people who have offended linked to alcohol to support individuals to address their alcohol issues and reduce the risk of re-offending.
ACE is a groupwork programme which runs for 12 weeks and consists of 12 x 2 hours sessions. The programme addresses issues around alcohol and offending behaviour in a supportive, interactive environment. The programme consists of:
- Alcohol education
- Understanding the relationship between alcohol and offending
- Goal setting
- Managing your alcohol use

The Court and Criminal Justice Services may have considered ACE to be suitable for you to help reduce the risk of re-offending and to link you in with support. It may also be an alternative to a custodial sentence.

By attending the group you will be given new ways of dealing with problems and new skills to help you make positive changes and to reduce the risk of re-offending.
